China's annual internet conference has entered a second day here in Beijing, with the focus on building an inclusive finance system.
Today's discussions reflect the country's latest move to improve its financial market. The goal is to reach all borrowers that seek funds, especially those who can't readily obtain them, such as in rural areas, small and medium enterprises, and micro-enterprises.
The three-day event with the theme of "Industrial integration, interconnectivity and sharing", comes after the government unveiled the first set of guidelines to govern the rapidly developing internet finance sector. It's hosted by the China Internet Association.
Officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and People's Bank of China are attending. And leaders of Chinese internet giants and major companies are participating in the forums, showing off cutting-edge technologies, sharing success stories and discussing the future of the Chinese Internet industry.
